Work Experience
Graduate Research Assistant at BioNLP Lab at University of Massachusetts Lowell
Developing a medical note chatbot application leveraging Flask and Python to streamline the annotation of deidentified discharge summaries, enhancing the efficiency of question-answer evaluation for clinical research.
Graduate Teaching Assistant
At UMass Lowell, I've enjoyed the rewarding experience of helping students grow in three key courses: Analysis of Algorithms, Data Communication, and C++ Programming. Working side-by-side with inspiring faculty like Dr. Robert Marceau and Prof. Benyuan Liu, I broke down challenging topics, whether it was exploring how algorithms work, untangling computer networks, or building real projects in C++.
Led hands-on workshops, and offered personal help that made a difference. The impact showed: students shared that their coding skills improved and they felt more confident tackling new problems. Many took on bold ideas in their final projects, pushing their creativity and technical abilities further.
This role has let me give back by sharing what I've learned, while also growing myself as a mentor and as a teammate in a classroom where everyone's success matters. I'm thankful for every chance to support students on their journey, and proud to be part of a vibrant, supportive learning community.
